Default Performance Chip

When is someone going to come out with a chip to increase hp/tq...something that is relatively cheap unlike the uni chip.

eManage/eManage Ultimate aren't really chips, its more fuel/system management

There was a guy up at the track a few weeks ago with a tC that actually had one of the eBay chips in his car.. He told me: "you can really feel the difference, you should get one!"

I just gave him a weird look and rolled up my window.

a dirty 30 of ice house is only $9 out here

but more importantly there is no reflash for our ecu yet it seemes to be eprom based since the flash is avalible for the s/c but as far as i know there arent any companys or even individuals trying to play with a reflash

I doubt there will ever be any chips for the tC. As far as I know there arent even any for any other toyotas. It seems now in the tC however that there are a lot of companies trying different piggyback systems for the ECU when going FI. Really the only thing out so far would be a camcon, which would give you a few hp/tq but nothing compared to the honda scene. Our ECUs just havent fully been cracked to the point someone could make a chip without too much effort.

tC's computer is too smart to take any sass from a ____ty "performance" (aka cute little resistor bought from Radio Shack for $1.09) chip.
