^^^Yes. After the gasket is smashed a certain way too much it doesn't go back to its original size and shape. I kept tightining the bolts on mine because i thought it would need to be super tight to keep from moving around and possibly leaking. I found that the more i tightend the more it smashed the gasket, which in turn brought the s-pipe closer to the axle.

How compressed are the springs and how many threads do you have after the nut?

ok, I am going to play with it some more tonight rather than going out, I might try taking out the High flow cat.

any on have experience with just running a 18" resonator with the magnalfow muffler?
