PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY GARBAGE LIKE THAT FROM EBAY.

I'm not saying that everything sold on eBay is bad, but your definately not going to make 20 HP from a ten cent resistor which can be potentially harmful to your car. Please do not be fooled by scammers like those.

^^^^ thats all that it is... a simple resistor which does nothing for horsepower.

Save up some money and do a little reasearch on this website to find out how to mod your car. The Button at the top of the screen is very usefull. And there is also a Tech secion under the Feature tab up at the top aswell that will help you out.

Say No To eBay Garbage!

^^ hell... I can get them for a fraction of a cent :D

Basic rule of thumb (some may not like it)... power is not cheap. If it is, it is either bogus or will not last.

For example, a CAI is (relatively) cheap and nets practically no HP at all, exhaust.. a LITTLE HP, header... a LITTLE HP.

Manufacturers try to produce hp gaining products for cheap to fool people into buying them. They also post inflated dyno numbers, incorrect numbers and fail to explain that a peak gain over a narrow part of the band is not going to do much for you anyway.

Engineers put a LOT of work into getting the most out of a small engine to allow for economy and efficient power prodcution. So a metal tube intake, $200 header, catback system, resistor, etc isnt going to do nearly what you think it will in the end.

If you want real power gain, save up and do it right. Dont let yourself get fooled by crap like this. Take some time to learn the physics involved (VERY important when deciding which products are bogus) and the workings of your engine. This will help you make wise decisions.
