I got a DTC for
PO606

thats a toyota PCM processor fault code

pretty scary...

even stranger, there were no pending codes.


All I have H/full 2.5 exhaust

no kind of electronics, the car is running fine, i had a stupid WR ignition coil equawutever installed so i took it off and reset the ecu and the code has not returned(as of yet, about 100 miles) BUT i had the WR thingy on for almost 6 months with no probs...

any ideas?

Did you do any mods on your secondary o2 sensor for the cel? I tried a o2 sim and I got a similar code.

yes i did.
I extended the second(narrow band) O2 sensor...
I cut the oem harness in half then used 4 pieces of wire about 2.5 foot long to extend it.
BUT i soldered and shrinked AND used that flexible ribbed sleeve on it.

BUT(again) i did notice the AC drips and runs down it.
On high humidity days(the CEL came on in the morning) i guess moisture could get in there and cause a short.

Hey man THANKS a million! you really helped out here, now at least i have an idea what could have caused the CEL.

I'm gonna check that sensor.
