its 3" in and 3" out so obviously id need a step up piece on either side. Im mainly concerned about the diameter.

Yes it will fit i have the same fitment on my magnaflow . The one i have is a 33" and 6" diameter with a 2.5 in / and out . so yes it will you will even have room for another 16" resonator if you want to add a second one . Though the resonator scrapes on big bumps cuz im lowered on h techs but overal size it does fit .

I have a couple of questions for you. Just to clarify the overall length of the resonator is 36", the actuall body is 30". I dont see where you could fit another 16" resonator.

1. Did you remove the second cat after the s pipe?

2. What is the drop on h techs, because im on trd's and i dont know how big your drop is compared to mine.

3. What muffler shop did you use?

Thanks,

Jon

Nope i did not remove the second cat which is really the first resonator . my setup right now is the small stock resonator ( which looks like a bubble ) , a AERO 25 which is like 16" long and a 33" x 6 diameter magnaflow resonator . this fitment is a perfeft fitment . it takes up the whole midpipe . If your looking to eliminate rasp then i would advise getting two resonators either an AERO or a vibrant resonator to add to your 30".

do you have any pics of the setup? I have been under my car many times and currently have 2 18 inch resonators, and dont see where i could fit a 16 inch resonator as well as a 33" resonator.

cool thanks! Btw i just looked it up, and it seems as though you have a 27" resonator. The 33" includes the inlet and outlet tubes on either side, so the body of the actual resonator is 27".

this is the pic i took today .. yeah the body is a 27 " but i always measure it by the total length which is 33"

The resonator is 33" resonator lenght and the aero is 16" long and like you can see in the pic i still have the stock small resonator in tact .

cool thanks for the pics. So the resonator I have is 3 inches bigger than yours. Do you think I still need a 16 inch resonator? Did the aero really make a big difference in the sound?

Thanks again for the pics!

well if i can go back and re do my midpipe i would have just gotten a hi flow cat and a aero to eiliminate the rasp completely.

When i had just the magnaflow i was still getting rasp at top end maybe after 4500k . I just added the aero maybe like 2 weeks ago and i am more than happy with it . with my combo i was able to eliminate the rasp completely and lower the tone of my exhaust also.

What kind of two resonators do you have ?? If you do purchase the magnaflow i advise leaving at least one of your resonators in and have them remove the stock resonators if you have them.

I have 2 x 22" magnaflow resonators(18" bodies x 4" diameter) but one of them recently broke, and I needed to replace it. I just bought a 36" magnaflow (30" body x 6" diameter resonator), and I am going to see if they can fit the new one with one of the old 22" resonators that I have for a total of 58" of resonator (48" body total) Do you think that both of these will fit?

Im thinking they will fit but in the front part of the midpipe you might have the 22" one vibrating against the heat shield panel but where ever you take it they should have away of solving that . but overall length it sounds good . post pics when you have it on your car .
