Any suggestions? Been seeing alot on Ebay and TRD. Just wondering if anyone has any advice.

 

TRD actually makes one... What would you need it for though? You dont know when to shift? Or ***** and giggles?

 

you don't need one unless your really big into drag racing.

i went with a autometer phantom gauge, it is a digital tach and shift light in one... it woks good, i don't have to pay attention to the tach anymore, just eyes one the road... would defentily recommoned...

 

Raptor is also another great choice. I like it for the s/c tC since there is no power drop after a certain RPM (unless you hit the rev limiter) like most other setups. Peak HP is at redline with the s/c too. I've noticed that the stock tach has a very slow response time, esp with a rapid climb in RPM.

 

I had a raptor in my mustang, and am getting one for the tC with my nitrous kit so I stay in the spray window, but the raptor is small and bright I like them a lot.

 

I agree with this-- I've hit the fuel cutoff on more than one occasion, think I still had another 200 or so RPM to go.

 

If TRD makes one at it looks clean I'd go that route. Otherwise I'd probably just pick up an Autometer one and find some way to mount it nicely.

 

i've got the raptor mounted right in the speedo pod, on the left side it. I think its great, its small and bright.
