check all the bolts to make sure they are on properly. you may have a bad install, and thats why it's loud

do they make a catback and an axleback version? I think the axle back version is the one people love alot, since it's really deep...

i have the skunk2 and compared to stock, it's pretty loud, but in no way at all ricey, even without the silencer. Sounds like a goofy install. There's a fitment issue with the stock s-pipe to the midpipe connection. Most people drill out the stocker, but i upgraded to the jvt s-pipe instead. For some reason aftermarkets fit better than the stock, lol. Anyways, there was no other fitment problems. I suggest taking it to a muffler shop so they can check all your connections, since you probably have a leak or 2.

the skunk2 is loud, you can weld a resonator in to make it sound less ricey

i had trouble with the connection too. put it on the car and put it together, minus bolting on the mid pipe to the s pipe. then install it. it sounds loud but when you're on the highway it doesn't really sound that bad.

Yeah the Skunk2 exhaust comes with the axleback and midpipe to make it a whole spipe back system. With any exhaust, when you add a midpipe, it will be really loud. If you want, you can try putting the stock midpipe back on and rock the Skunk2 axleback portion only. That might make it a bit quieter.
