Well for the ast couple days ive been having a problem.. It only happens once a day and usually at night when its chilly and the cars been sitting there for hours while im working night shift, ill start it and itll start then shut off.. Then restart and its good.. whatd could this be??

 

Mine does this once every 2 weeks... at night
It tries to turn over but nothing gives until you take the key out and let it sit then try it again.
Take it to the dealer if it does it routinely...
starter problems maybe.

 

Too many things can cause this fuel pressure regulator bleeding down, maf sensor, and etc. Try this and see if it works turn you key on and wait 5-10 seconds before starting the first time to let fuel pressure build up and see what happens. If it works fine it could be FPR or a weak fuel pump. How many miles on your car and what mods?

 

No mods yet but soon i/h/e.. And i have 19,500 miles on it, but ya it only does it once and when its cold only, u think thats it i mean i cleaned the maf and it didnt work.. i dunno..

 

My tC took a long time to start when it had low miles. Did leaving the key on for a few seconds before starting help?

 

No it didnt work but its only did it once in the last 4 days but it was cold when it did it.. It acts like it doesnt get enough air or something its wierd..
