Not quite sure. Still on my first tank of 93 since the s/c so we'll see. Plus, I've been driving a bit harder than usual(obviously just got the thing).

Actually, if you stay out of boost (i know its hard to do) you should be able to increase MPG.

Could you give me a preview how's it's like compare to the stock, in term of 192 whp? Does it meet your expectation?

Lets get some actoin videos up now where you can hear the thing spooling up on the street. The dyno covered up all the pretty sounds.

I'm not gonna lie guys. Its pretty quiet on the inside. The exhaust kinda drowns out the whine. But here is the bright side... Can somebody say SLEEPER?

sleeper is cool, but i like the whole hearing/seeing factor! My friends supercharged bmw sounded like a jet, and had a oil cooler (think thats what it was, looked like a music amp kinda), and front mount intercooler of some sort.

U could hear it wind, and it sounded so badass!

What all would be involved to do that to the tC, I know they said a front mount is possible w/ this type of setup..but what kind of gains would u think it would even do?

God I hate winter time. Its super cold and rainy now. Snow is sure to hit anytime. The reason im waiting to get it...i dont wanna put it on and have it stored for winter with the sC!

I think im gonna get and put on the alphawerks header soon tho, it looks like once the supercharger is installed, there wont be much clearance to change/swap a header without messing with the sC rod goin across the engine?

Can u gets get some more pics up of diff angles? Like some up close/overtop please!

Thanks!

That reminds me of my motto...

Yeah, I gave her FULL THROTTLE today. I'm sure it moves around a bit. Some urethane motor mounts might do the trick

I got some questions for the s/c dude.
1.Did you get it installed from a Toyota place or did you do it yourself.
2. Total Cost of labor if there was any
3. How many hours for install

So far my dealer quoted me 3080 for the S/C and 600 to 800 for labor and they dont know if they only want to do mine because it cost them 500 bucks for the harness or the ecu thing. I think 8 to 9 hours of work

Yes, it costs them $$ for the ecu thing... but it's reusable and they wouldn't have to order it for the next person. If they charge you for it, call shenanigans and kick them in the shins.

Ya what there doing is waiting a week to see if any of the other dealers are getting it so they can share because its not likely they will do another one.

all this has already been posted... but for the lazy ones....

1. Koons Toyota of Tysons
2. $3500 installed. i think i was charged either $2908 or $2980 (dont have the receipt handy) for the unit, so do the math.
3. 12 hrs of installation.

Yea, it's definitely tight in there after the s/c... so you are right...i would suggest doing the header, cuz if not you're going to have to take the s/c unit out in order to install the header. The only reason i havent put on a header is cuz im not satisfied with any of them out there in terms of the CEL and then the fixes for the CEL. I personally believe there's no need to go cat-less because that's only going to give you benefits wwaayyy waay up there and i personally prefer the power low end, so without a cat you loose the backpressure that that's going to give you that low end power and torque..... so i am just going to have to get one custom done.... now if only i had any money left....
