For tC owners looking to hit 14s with an N/A setup
any of you raced ls integra's? i got this kid that wont stop talking ____ with his i/h/e ls integra. you think i could take him with just an cai? and of course this would be at the track.
there is no way. my friend has a ls integra but in a gsr body with intake headers and exhaust. i smoked him by 2 car lengths with no prob and can do him all day long.
so race him and put a few dollars on your car for me

he says he ran 15.2 but he is also running nitrous, so i dont know if that pass was on nitrous. the kid works at the toyota dealership and all i hear out of him is how slow tc's are.

so he verry well could be hitting 15.2 without nitrous but who knows just race him if you race on the street you wont get up to 80 so you will pull almost constant it isnt till around 70 that the tc seems to die and falls on its face

my friend has an integra gs with intake, non vtec, and i kill em off the line like a monster. Well pretty much after that too.
Race and find out.
I dont think a GS integra is worth much, but that's my opinion. I've never been impressed with them, modded or not. The best I've seen that was fairly modded barely hit 15.8

Yes... thank you..
After some more consideration, it's probably going to be difficult to hit 14's NA without a set of full boltons. The comparison I'd like to use is an RSX-S. It's a 14.9 car, but does so with a stock 170+whp and is a little lighter than us.
Looking at my 15.36 timeslip, there really isn't more than I can do to yank any more power out of it for now. It just needs mods. At minimum, I think we'll need about 165-170whp to do it, which would require full boltons, some tuning, and some luck.

i know more bolt ons are required but i dont think we will need a tune im not going to tune the safcII till i get a base time at the track (it opens the first weekend of april)
i think more then any thing the thing that didnt let you run any lower was your tires get some softer tires and drop the pressure on them the stock ones are to stiff and dont grip good at all

Probably so.
I won't go for another shot until the tax return gets back... with which, i'm ordering the precision axleback and CC s-pipe.
Then we'll have a go with that setup, see where we end up.

Precision Muffler also makes a catback. You might as well get the PM catback instead.. unless of course, there are smog tests there. Also, you could ask them to make you a custom. They've a tC so they know where each bend goes and can send you a custom exhaust.

With the Injen CAI S pipe AW header or better header. Full exhaust perhaps even an axleback, ECU tune or even taking the risk with the crank pulley know to yield 10hp NA you should get there. Im quite sure with 167 WHP and equal TQ the TC should break into the 14. Some guys are breaking the 14.7 mark with stock 05 + Type S so i see alot of hope for the TC. The TC has alot more TQ and only weighs 110 more pounds than the Type S.

I bet I could break it now... just don't have a track open to do it on.... or any weather permitting... without N2O.... but we'll just have to wait.....
