any thing at all? its driving my nuts and i dont want to take it off because then i will have just wasted 230$.

Its your throttle body... You could try WD40, but don't add too much.

i had the loud hiss ti with my custom intake but when i swaped to a aem dry filter it killed that and i can tell it is also flowing better just by putting my hand up against the filter it sucks more then the first filter i had

 

fyi - the dry filter wont fit on the injen intake if you are using the sram version.

Glad to hear you like your AEM dry filter. I just bought one for like $40 and it is on the way. So it is better? I was hoping it would kill that wheezing noise too. Now I am super excited to be getting it!

 

Oh and btw, I got the 5" AEM dry filter. Since i am running CAI could I have gone with the 9" and if so would have have been better?

 

what squek are you talking about? are you talking about the whistle like sound that it makes when it sounds like its suckin in more air?

 

The stock airbox does it as well. It is not coming from the CAI, it just makes it louder. You probably just never noticed it as bad before the CAI. The CAI will make it louder, not much you will do to change it.

 

I don't think its possible to get rid of it. You could try getting a larger TB but thats overkill over a little problem for that. I personally love it and my friend was showing off how he had it when he got his CAI on his RSX type S. Then I let him drive my car then he got ____ed because mine was just as loud as his. This was before I got my CAI on too.
