Default Thinking About Buying An Exhaust

I was first thinking about getting the Greddy SP2 but I've been searching through these posts and I have heard good things about the Ark N2 and the Ark DT-S. Which of those would you guys recommend. I only have the Injen CAI and im thinking about maybe getting Headers.

If I install one could I have problems with the emissions test?

im in the same situation. i have an injen CAI, megan header, and invidia downpipe. Im looking for an OEM type exhaust. Im leaning more towards the Precision Muffler Axel back and a custom midpipe. but i do like the Megan Racing one too

haha sp2 alone, axleback, prolly 1-2whp.....thats what people say........but, if you check out the dyno on the sticky thread its got some good numbers for an axle alone.....but anyway i like the sp2......no one has said anything negative about it

Id say the N2 but it all depends on what you like. You can check out arkracing's site and listen to both their exhausts.

I like the N2 too but i read that if im planning on getting headers the DT-S would be the better choice.

If I just go with an exhaust and intake will I have problems with emmisions?

YES. You may have problem with Intake and Header for the emission test. Those 2 items requires CARB legal numbers.

all you can have is an axleback if you live in california (noisemaker) and probably a custom s-pipe, as that does not delete any cats. If you have an '06 you can get the special carb-certified AEM intake but if you own an '07 there are no carb-certified intakes available as of now. No header whatsoever will pass carb, it deletes the catalytic converter. No catless midpipe will pass carb, either.

I live in Nevada but i dont know what the laws are like for these things.

How do people with headers, intake and exhaust pass their emissions? Do they take everything off?

Which are the best exhausts out there, performance wise? Will I really feel a difference?

YES. If you go catback, you will definately feel difference hp.

We have our dyno tested an ARK exhaust system .

Check our dyno results.

Simple... no issue fitting or emission test. We have few pix about our catback. Check our link. Thanks

so for the installation you cut and clamp after the catalytic and the rest is bolt on,correct.
