So come to find out today that the damn SC is not coming out till NOVEMBER. BAH, well I guess it just leaves me more time to just spend money on other stuff. HAHA. Oh well, what can you do. working for the company, you should have seen this coming then....
worked for toyota for 3 years, seen plenty of things delayed..especially with TRD parts and Scion
no big surprise

 

here is something to consider....dont expect it to come out EVER! just imagine that they never intended there to be a Supercharger. then when it FINALLY comes out. you can act all surprised..like....WHOA! NO WAY!
then you can be dissapointed that it will suck and only give you jack **** for power. then you will want a turbo!

They lost my interest a long time ago. A year of delays with no real explanation to the consumer, not to mention the ones who waited to purchase their car to wait for it. Then the only info they give that is consistent from source to source is 40 bhp for $3000 ... which is so far overpriced for the end result that I am betting few will even consider it. You will end up having properly built NA tCs outrunning your $3000 SC if that is the case.

Like I said, I gave em a chance, but I think I will just save up the cash and buy a turbo down the road unless they really come out and suprise me.

 

Hey, don’t feel so bad we;
1 already know its Vortech based
2 already have more then one photo and prototype
3 already know it’s going to add somewhere around 50 to 57 WHP
4 already know aftermarket industry is going to jump on every little stone
5 already know TRD is going to have to sell this thing
And last of all its already integrated in tC marketing prop…they cant back out.

for example: greddy's turbo kit? i know who knows when its gonna be released. i even went to there corporate office to ask. they said they will not tell. its the same for everyone out there

 

I got the info from Victor and the new TC parts sheet as well. So if that's a reliable source then i don't know what is.

For those of you waiting for the S/C here is how to get 300 WHP out of your tC

Just yesterday I was talking to my scion service rep about this whole thing, and he was laying it down pretty heavy, as usual.. then it hit me….. How to get 300 WHP out of your tC in 6 easy steps

1) - 6) Take the money and buy a turbo kit OR;

1) Get together the 3200. You were going use for the S/C and the 1100. For the exhaust, ignition system, intercooler, suspension…brakes I’m sure you planed on something! Now you should have 4300.cash
2) Before not one value robbing mile can be added to your ODO drive your modest mouse to the nearest Nissan dealership.
3) Out of the 4300.cash, put 300. In your pocket.
4) Find the closest Nissan rep and slap the 4000. Cash on the desk and say, “take my granny car and Put me in the nicest pre owned 350Z on the lot!!!”
5) Use the 300. And put a CIA on your pre owned 350Z; bring up the HP, to hopefully be around 300

6) To all you guyz and gals that felt attached to the tC ask yourself three major questions …. Are things any worse then before?…..am I still getting poked by TRD and are they still playing mind games?…Now can I actually pass the punk in the hopped-up Dodge Neon? My answers are NO..NO..YES

 

uh, even with TWIN turbos the 350 is still ____, it only got around 75 hp to the wheels for 4 thousand dollars...ef that....its a good car if your a 40 year old man in a mid life crisis, and too poor to afford a REAL mid life crisis car...

get a life people, the freaking SC will come out, and it will put MORE hp under the hood, and people WILL buy it....regardless of how you are percieving it now....the fact remains , it is a forced induction power increase, that is covered under warranty...str8 up...it DOES suck it keeps getting delayed , but thats life, TRD wants to make sure it is daily drivable, we dont want a bunch of candy **** whiny beetches like u all complining when your SC blows the head gasket, and tears up your internals , now do we? The scion owner is a VERY discerning customer, they are perfecting the product, and waiting fopr the carb legality to make it street safe and street legal.
