yeah it is they gave me an 07 camry its pretty cool but boring to drive compared to the tc but im not complainin its just that they are taking too long and i was wondering if the backordered parts thing is true
I wonder if you complain enough about it that they could buy back the car and sell you another 07 for the same price.... basically just swap it out for a new one.
Hopefully some Toyata mangers or techs view this thread.... they may have the low down.
Someone name "Scion Eyes" used to work for a Toyota Dealership.... I think she was a manager there. I think she is still working for them.... try to search for her screen name and PM her. She is really nice. She may be able to help. She knows everything Scion.

No matter the situation you cannot sell a brand new scion for less than sticker price. It has Pure Price. If you don't know what pure pricing is goto www.scion.com and read. Next in many if not most cases you replace internal parts of a manual transmission. Some dealers do replace entire transmissions however it is not always the dealer's decision. Dealers usually have to get the ok from a corporate rep in situations like this. If they are already fixing it for you then you are good to go. Look at it from the perspective of thats one less thing you may have to replace in the future.
