Default TRD CAI vs. Injen CAI

I'm not good at comparing parts like these. I was wondering if any SCIONtists out there could help me with some questions?

How much HP does each one put out?
What's the price of each intake?
Which one do you recommend?
Oh, and do they reduce MPG?

THANKS. TANTALIZEDMIND.

Since I see that no one has bothered to answer your question, I'll help you out with the little knowledge I have.

As of right now, there is no such thing as a TRD air intake for the tC. If I remember correctly, AEM was producing an intake that was snatched by TRD. Even though I've seen a reference to a TRD intake through a brochure or catalog of some sort that came from Toyota/Scion, it's been pretty quiet on that front for awhile.

If anyone has any better understanding of that whole situation, please fill in the gaps/call me a liar. I have no inside knowledge whatsoever; I only know what I read on here.

As for the Injen CAI, it's a pretty solid piece of work. The price varies depending on where you look. I would suggest trying www.trdsparks.com. The guys from there keep in touch with us and offer great deals and better customer service. For info on the CAI and how it stacks up to the other ones out there, try https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=92108.

I would personally go with the Injen from what I have read. I have no personal experience with any CAI for the tC, so I go buy what I've heard and the numbers I've seen.

Injen.

TRD is over priced and to keep it simple, you'll see a little more hp gains with injen vs. trd. Not that much, but you might as well go with the better.
