Trouble Turning Over
So i've never had any problems with my 05 TC, but I got in the car the other day and it wouldn't start. I could hear the engine trying to crank but it wouldn't turn over. Then finally boom, turned over. It's been on and off for a few days and now it just won't start. I replaced the battery and checked the alternator for voltage (13.5 so it's fine) and now I am not sure what to do. A few times after I got it started the engine just quietly stopped as well, but when I did get it running, it was going just fine.
I am not sure if it has to do with the engine immobilizer, but I had a key made at a locksmith about 18 months ago and that is needed to start the car.
what else can I tell you to help me Dx the issue!

What is the battery voltage? What is the battery voltage while cranking? Also just bc your alternator shows 13.5 volts doesnt necessarily mean its good. When you do get it running recheck dc volts then check ac volts. The ac volts will tell you if the diode trio is ok, cant remember the exact number but if its less than .5 then the diodes are good.
