Default tsudo header fitment issues

does anyone have the first version of the tsudo header. the first ones they made? i have one and the 02 bung on the s pipe is all wrong, pointed straight at the axel and the header has horrible fitment issues. wont seal up to the head all the way. constant exhaust leak causeing the valve chatter tick to be really loud and i have blow by. i pulled it off and u could see on the bottom of the gasket black suet cause it wasnt sealing all the way. it hits the engine in one spot and coolent lines in another that holds it from going down all the way. is anyone experiencing these problems?

dude the tsudo header is the exact same thing as a MMW header. go to speed-element.com they sell the tsudo header. its a 4-2-1 the latest version they made they perfected it but when they first started and u can see with my problems there was quite a few problems. its not a cheap ebay header. its $400 for header and s pipe. i just should have waited till they perfected it.

i had a friend who bought a ebay generic header on his nissan sentra and that too had fitment issues. he took it to the shop and they had to re-wield SEVERAL area's that were leaking; the O2 sensor bung was worse. He had to go back to the shop twice just because the wield did not seal up the leak well enough, mainly the O2 sensor. before the shop and the first time he went, he had a CEL and his car ran extremely poor (acceleration, hesitations; just poor), not to mention poor gas mileage.

When you buy headers for any car make sure its the authentic header for that specific car; like DC or MMW. I think there was a few re-calls on Megan's but they have a new version now so maybe it will last with no leaks.

you can still use the tsudo headers but your wasting more money just make it fit. and if you do fixed the issue, make a video! i never seen a tsudo "header" on a tC, as matter of fact, i dont even see it on ebay! good luck
WOW.. dude STFU

know what your talking about before opening your mouth

sorry but i wont because i have not seen any website stating MMW and tsudo are the same.

as a matter of fact, this forum http://www.club-tc.com/forums/perfor...must-read.html

, our own scion tC forum complains about it too.

Monster Motorworks? i couldve sworn they make parts for weapon-r.

so hush, unless you got facts better then mine, then i ll shut.

please, that website dont even give Monster Motorworks credit if www.speed-element.com dont mention crap about them

yea. the tsudo header and s pipe are the exact same thing as the Weapon-r header and s pipe. and on that lil club-tc forum post up im having issues with the 2nd o2 sensor pointing straight at the axel as well. i know of several ppl who have gone with the tsudo header and s pipe pipe and have no problems. great fitment and everything. but like i said they bought the latest version of it and i have the old. i went searching earlier and i found that the old Weapon-r/ MMW header was giving the same problems im having now too with s pipe fit ments and header fitments. they are all hand welded no one is perfect. MMW/Weapon-r/ and Tsudo are the SAME exact design just dif ppl welding them together. a few out of the bunch are gonna have some sort of a problem i guarantee u. its the same dude.

you sound like a child, quit defending your retarded self and stay on topic. what other personal problems you have to say about me?

You can use one of my angled Cel fixes to move the o2 sensor away from the axel, I had the same problem with my invidia s-pipe.

look on ebay. majority of the headers are generic brands. its so easy to replicate, anything!
ic they made a generic DC header, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-07...spagenameZWDVW

as a matter of fact Kris your better off buying this header. its ceramic coated so it helps prevent heat from expanding and leaks occurring. atleast you know this generic brand is a bit more reliable then the other generics..

diluvium? who the hell are u talking to calling someone a child? i know your not talking to me. and yea InLikeFlint i bought one of your angled CEL fixes i love it it works great its not the angled piece thats the problem its the o2 its like a half inch away from hitting the axel so the CEL fix wont fit without modification to the s pipe. but this is all fine. im getting a megan header anyway so all this is being thrown out the window. now when i was backing up speed-element i wasnt taking up for them. quality or not i will never by from them again i was just stating my point that its the same exact design as the MMW/ Weapon r. thanks again InLikeFlint for the CEL fix.

don't know if know this or not but you can use the angled cel fix 180 degrees as long as the o2 sensor wire has enough slack you can tighten the nut on the Cel fix to the o2 bung with the angled cel fix pointing in any direction (i.e you could have it where the o2 points to the front of the car, up, down or towards the back and any degree inbetween.) This may not solve your problem, but didn't know if you knew or not.

dude you was basically telling the guy that he fukced up because he bought that header ... how is that helping him or even being mature. not to mention you had no clue at all what you where talking about in the first place and was completely wrong to begin with . the tsudo isnt an ebay header but here you are ranting about how it is.

some people just cant admit when they are wrong...ugh

anyways to the OP so you do have the 90 degree cel fix? if you do you know you can angle it anyway you want on the pipe it doesn't have to be screwed down all the way it will tighten up in any direction. that way you can angle it so the sensor isn't hitting anything at all. thats what i had to do with my s-pipe

if thats not gonna work well then i suggest going to an exhaust place and having them weld on another bung for like 10 bucks.

yea the cel fix wont even fit with the nut off and screwing it down all the way it still wont fit. no room. the s pipe is crap they designed it crap. its not the o2 sensor hiting the axle its the CEL fix grinding on the axle. cant fix that. the header and s pipe are just crap. bad fitment and poor quality. i believe they need to send me a new one to replace their defective product but thats just my $.02. and yea can we just drop the bull ****. every thread i come into on this website someone always has to start ****. everyone has to fight its crap. really brings this website down big time. good thing this isnt a club. i would just call this a fight forum cause u cant just ask someone a question without someone coming in and calling u a dumb a$$ because they think they know something u dont. its crap. but ima drop this cause it aint gonna change anything. thanks for the help and info guys.

yea unxpectederror was the first to talk smack. second this topic in general was gonna drop anyways so kris i saved your topic and got your questions answered. and the basterd unxpectederror is still playin along saying that i dont know anything and not proven jack ____ for a come back.

and unxpectederror you need to read carefully retard, ebay does not make headers so what do you mean by ebay products? theres all kinds of official and non-official products sold in ebay. TSUDO, is quite a cheap brand, its sold everywhere! so who knows if you'll get a generic tsudo or a real tsudo, its the fact that people are getting ripped off about buying something and complain about it. and its so easy to copy crap and sell it next day, thats business. if unxpectederror talks further, which he'll probably do, im here.

kris, like i said your topic was gonna drop, you bought a tsudo, nuff said
