Turboing a daily driver

Has anyone put a turbo timer on our cars? The reason I ask is because if that transponder chip (in our key) is not in the car somewhere close to the ignition, the computer will not let the car run.
I would not recommend putting the spare key hidden in the car to allow the timer to work either for obvious reasons.

ONce the transponder in the key has disarmed the immobilizer system, it stays disarmed until the car powers off. Therefore you dont need to hide a key anywhere. Now, you would definatly have to do this for a remote start system.

or HKS, or Blitz. I've had a Blitz Dual TT with boost gauge and automatic timer for 8 years. It has never given me grief and has a built-in boost gauge and peak hold function. Easily worth the $100 I spend for it.
