Weapon R intake Owners question

Default Weapon R intake Owners question

Hi everyone, I feel dumb asking but when i installed my weapon R intake two hoses were left hanging a small hose and the evap system purge valve. what do i do with them should they be connected or something. my car threw a CEL maybe the hoses have something to do with it? in the DIY the photos look like the hoses are connected please help me.

this hose on my car its just hanging and the small hose is plugged up with a blot
not sure what do with these

well, that purge valve is required for the EVAP system for emissions control and judging by that last picture, its completely gone

99% positive that is what is causing the CEL

any particular reason why you removed it?

on the stock intake the EVAP hose was connected, but the Weapon R intake has no place where to connect that hose the two photos is from the DIY on this forums.

did you throw out the VSV that was there?

i am also concerned at the fact that there is not a bung on the intake for the valve cover vent tube...

Thank you very much for the help, the VSV is still on the stock intake I have it. Should I reintstall it and mount it somewhere with zipties?

I just got a Weapons R intake. Will have to watch my hoses too !!

I used the stock hose to connect to the block
