Default Weapon-R Torque Damper "Stiffy" Breaking

Has anyone with any torque damper experience this problem? I have had my stiffy for about 5 months now and I noticed that there wasnt anymore vibration from the engine bay. So I took a look to see if it was a lose bolt or something (this was a night btw) I shook the damper and it was really lose, which explained the no vibration. The next morning I took a look and the piece that attaches to the stiffy and the motor mount is in two pieces.

I've heard of it happening before. I also believe that the weapon-r damper is the one that was notorious for breaking.

IMO invest in some better motor mounts..a lot more durable and will get the job done better. Otherwise if you want to stick with the damper I think DME makes one for the tC as well.

Couldn't I just file a warranty issue?

x2 with XiEmperorIX on the weapon-r ETD braking and no you can't file a warranty issue. buy the ES motor mounts or the DME or Ingalls ETD but still the motor mounts is the best way to go over the ETD.

motor mounts are the way to go......seems like all the stiffys break and fairly quick too.
