I was wondering if you could use a Fidanza or CC Aluminum Light Flywheel with a stock Clutch setup. Also I was wondering if anyone has heard of F1 Racing. I checked ebay and saw this, tell me what you think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/F1-RA...spagenameZWDVW
Its pretty cheap only 480 shipped and that is for the F1 Racing Clutch and Fidanza Light Flywheel. Thanks guys.

Yeah I was thinking about getting the CC Stage 2 and a flywheel. Whats better in your opinion CC or Fidanza flywheel. Or let me rephrase, what has been known to be more reliable, LOL. And on another note what is a SPEC clutch.
SPEC is just another brand.. I'm not saying that what was posted IS a SPEC.. it just looks like one.
As for the flywheels, I doubt you can go wrong with either. I personally have the CC 9lb Flywheel - it's Forged Steel instead of Aluminum like the Fidanza.

x2
as b_real45 said.
the fidanza is aluminum, the CC is steel.
I have the CC, and my friend has the Fidanza. They feel pretty much the same. Both you have to rev higher, lol.
I just got the CC because its steel instead of aluminum.
But not sure if that makes a difference in the long run.
Theoretically it should last longer. But not sure

Sweetness. Does our stock flywheel really weight 31 pounds, I found a site for the stock flywheel and it weighed 31 pounds and was 400 dollars. Holy jumping f@cken jesus.
You get better launches with a heavier flyhweel.
A friend of mine has a 12lb flywheel I believe. I'm sure he can launch better than I can with my 9lb.
But anything is better than the heavy a s s stock flywheel =)

Hey dave, are you trying to imply just to get CC Flywheel or that the 12lb flywheel is better then the 9lb or both. And whats the big difference between the 9 and 12 lb flywheel besides the 3 lbs.

Once you get going though, the 9lbs is better.
But keep in mind. The 9lb speeds up faster, and also slows down faster, because of inertia.
Where as the 12lb speeds up slower, but also slows down slower.
But most of this is negligible, compared to the complete build of the car. So if I confused you i'm sorry >.<
Basically, if you don't mind revving higher to get going, then get the 9lbs. On the freeway it feellssss great.
If you want better numbers at a drag strip then get the 12lb.
Fidanza and CC, get which ever one you like. Both are reputable. I also think both companies carry both versions of 9lbs and 12lbs.
seems like a good mod to get while i save for f/i.. I was wondering whats the stock flywheel weight.. And the 12 lb will still add faster accleration? I gues ill get the clutch to, prolly stage 2 or 3 somthing...
I'm pretty sure the stock flywheel weight more than 20lbs, maybe even 30lbs.
When I compared the stock flyhwheel to the aftermarket version.
My jaw dropped, lmao.
Its THAT big of a difference.
Yea, you will have better acceleration with the 12lb than with a 9lb, from a dig.
But, once your in motion, the 9lb is more preferable.
If your gonna get clutch kit, get a CC. I've compared my ACT to my friend's CC. The CC seems sturdier, that might explain why its a little bit more expensive too =P
But if your short on cash, just get the ACT clutch kit. I never had any problem with it.
