WR Race Intake Manifold for tC..
that lean problem could get solved with a piggyback like apex or camcon. i personally have the apex safc2 and i got 10whp extras with just tuning the fuel. my afr used to be lean because of a injen intake that i customized to take more air from the front of the car, making it lean. got the safc2 tunned it and now my afr are 13.2 all the way with 10whp extras. I made the tunning myself............
i think this will be a nice setup for n/a or fi. but its NOT a bolt on item. everyone should know that the more air you put on your engine the more fuel its gonna need. Personally im down with the manifold. nice work guys.....
get it tune and show us the numbers
get it tune and show us the numbers
if WR can tune the AFR, i'd imagine there would be decent gains. then advance the ignition timing...oh my.
though to my knowledge, e-manage ultimate is the only piggyback capable of advancing ignition timing.
please don't give up on this!!!

I dont get why people are complaining about having to tune. It is showing that the design deffinatly flows more air. If your lookig into doing something like this you probably already have h/i/e/p and a tune will deffinatly do you some good without even adding the intake manifold into the picture. If everyone wants more power the answer is already out there, get a tune. I can't wait to see these numbers once everything is set up. Now dezod just needs to get that new engine managment done that allows tuning at partial throttle and we might finally be able to have some respectable N/a power.

you can use the AEM FI/C, but you'd be limited to tuning AFR's. as far as ignition timing (where additional power can be discovered), the AEM FI/C can only retard, not advance timing.

This is an intake manifold: not a header. nor is it an CAI or Short ram intake. The thread is about WR developing a new Intake manifold. It says it in the title (which is at the top of the page) Its also the thing you clicked on to see the thread. So I do not understand why you are asking for a dyno of WR Header, WR Intake, and WR header/intake combo and a picture of the engine bay with them installed. If you want to know that stuff, there are threads on here that probably have the information you want in them. Or if theres not, start a new thread asking people.
Ive been watching this thread and the last thing I want to see happen to it is it go off in another I/H direction.
Sorry im not tryin to ____ anyone off or offend anyone or anything, but come on lets keep it on topic.
im done...Back to watching...
Obviously since this is the intake manifold thread, my interest in the dynos is of dyno's WITH the intake manifold. I can read a title just fine, I know what I clicked on, I'm not ignorant to the way the site works. Surprise, Huh? This obviously isn't an effort to push it in the intake/header direction...but I'm rather positive that an intake manifold incorporates intake, already. Can you read now? The picture I was requesting, in case you still don't know, was not in interest of the headers, or the short ram intake, nor a combo of the two. There are a ton already, have you used the site? The picture was in interest of the intake manifold, on the engine, IN the car. It was all on topic. Weapon R as a company out to make a buck, dyno requests of their intake manifold with other products of theirs should not be a problem to them considering they are trying to sell the product. I'm rather sure that most people putting a intake manifold on their car isn't doing to to stay stock. You mean to tell me that this isn't of interest to anyone else? I don't believe this is asking too much, they are a pretty large company, I think they can handle it. And flaming me for wanting a pic, are you kidding me? A pic of the intake manifold on the engine in the car....god that must be really difficult for those guys huh? I don't know all of your purchasing practices, but before I throw my money at anything I'm going to want some information on the product first. Considering someone already P.M.ed me in an effort to school me on bolt ons's, Believe me when I say I already I know they don't do that considerably much for performance. Also, regardless of being within a range of dyno error or anything else you'd like to throw at me, having some numbers regardless is a ground to stand on in making a decision for a purchase. Don't go and think that just because I'm only 19 and rather new to this forum, that I don't know anything about the tC or bolt on's, or cars in general. I would hope, or atleast think, that before you go and buy something, you get a little background knowledge on the product before hand.
But whatever, back on topic? A picture of the intake manifold in the engine bay?

yea.. it hides in the back anyway.. you don't really see much unless you really stick your head back there

but leo.. there were pics of the re-design on cstc.. hmm.. lemme get 'em
