I have swapped engine trans and all under hood thru firewall wiring i lifted the 05 up off the cradle and put every thing in a 08 Scion tC the 08 was an automatic the 05 is a five speed I had to drill holes for clutch petal and all that
I got the swap all done my scanners won't connect to OBD. I've got no flashing security light no abs lights but it still just starts and dies and that is only when i run power to fuel pump with a wire from battery if I've got the same ECU for the. 05 engine.

Anyone have any suggestions on it? Thank you in advance.

I read through that thank you for the help. I've done the paper clip 30 min relearn but its changed nothing I've switched I had security light so I switched out the lock cylinder and the electronics associated with it so I have key from 05 car in and no security light I did front seat zero calibration with Snap On zues computer but I had to communicate with vehicle saying
it was a 2008 so with 05 immobilizer, engine, trans, ECU, and engine harness so what is telling the scanner that its still a 2008?

Is this probably why I can't get power to fuel pump and when I jump power to fuel pump it starts and immediately dies and is going to the dealership going to be the way to get this thing running.
