i prefer hidden intercooler piping, but it's too late for that for me isn't it keisha??. And although I dont have any money left for a little while, I think that the Mid pipe would be the best product you could offer because as of yet there is nobody offering that, and Im included in that axle-back isn't real exhaust bull $hit. mmm..HKS exhaust all the way to the S pipe sounds sexy.

p.s. i did like your catback, I just happened to get the HKS way before yours was finished.

This would be a hot seller! Just a replacement midpipe. 2.5" and high flow cat with a big resonator. I'd buy one right away.
The problem is so many people have invested in the TRD exhaust or other axleback. We need a mid-pipe that will make it sound good with a catless header. Not one company makes this and every other post is about header and axleback. Someone make the connection!!!!
Maybe we should get into the business together and provide these? ZPI probably wont because they are afraid they cant make their money all at once selling a very expensive complete exhaust.

Sleeper is the ONLY way to go for tC... We're too beautiful for the blatent huge FM pipes and intercooler... I sooo want a black FMIC. Then all chrome inside on the piping... My engine bay and car would be sooooooooo clean with that look...

Is there any reason why turbo setups all have Short Ram? I'd be all for CAI if it's technically not a deterrant. (Just don't like the huge filter in my Engine Bay).

HERE YE! HERE YE!

For those that are wondering about their exhaust, here is an example of how sweet it is. Kenny and I bought did some spirited driving. Here are the specs. on both cars.

Kenny
SSM 06' TC
Tein-S Techs.
19" Axis Mods
ZPI Cat-back exhaust

Me
BCP 05' TC
Stock Suspension
Stock Wheels
Injen CAI
Custom Cat-back (crushed bent piping) Blitz Nur Spec. exhaust

Now, Kenny is a better driver than me but I have an extra power mod, plus not so heavy wheels. And it felt like I was racing against an IS300 or something, the way he pulled on me, and only just with their exhaust system installed. Here is the video we shot from that night.

http://media.putfile.com/ZPI-visit

Now as far as the IC piping is concerned. I would rather have hidden pipes. That way I have the element of surprise for whoever decides they want to tango with me. But if there are drawbacks to having the hidden look, vs. the original look, then I would rather go with the original.

I wish I could. I have two jobs already and not ime for something like this. Is there even a bend in the stock midpipe? I think it's pretty much a straight pipe with a cat and resonator. Why has ZPI not even responded to this? I have the money ready to buy one whenever somebody makes it.

I have a freind that does stainless piping for dairys up in Wisconsin who just did a exhaust for his GTO. He can get top quality stainless pipe for next to nothing. When I install my ZPI s-pipe i'l take a look at what it would take to create the mid pipe with cat and resonator. Might just be easier to get it done at a exhaust shop.

for the s-pipe back exhaust: definitely straight-out (I'm not a fan at all of the "jdm" angled look,) resonator, and hi-flow cat would sell it for me.

I just go a quote for the "mid" section of the exhaust to connect the S-Pipe to my TRD Axleback exhaust. So from reading some posts, there has got to be a market for this since Im not the only one interested.

I like the ZPI Exhaust the way it is. It's made more for performance than just how "pretty" it looks.

I really like the FMIC piping, but it would help if they were semetrical. One looks longer than the other.

Personally, I like the FMIC piping sticking out, looks real trick and turns heads! It's not like a boosted tC is going to be a sleeper at WOT or blowing off.
