I'm not a moderator, so you can either choose to abide my sugegstions or not. Please keep your comments relative to the original post topic. If you want to start/continue an argument about this sort of stuff, please do so on another thread. Thread-jacking serves no useful purpose.

ZPI I may or may not do business with you guys as far as f/i (still making up my mind about which route to run) but you have definitely convinced me that sticking up for you was well warranted. Bravo for rising above the pettiness, and making an example for others to follow:

Rather than engaging in a peeing contest with competitors, you've chosen a higher path, and shown your customers (and potential customer's) that a strong customer relationship and excellent customer service is what is important, not getting the last word, or proving who is right. You are in essence, allowing your positive actions to speak for themselves.

It is a pity that all vendors aren't (yet) following the same example.

My car was never brought up until ZPI tried to pull a fast one, per usual. I will digress from off-topic banter, however.

ZPI, Jamasco, as a manufacture of consumer electronics our company is a vendor/business partner with Toyota, the company supplies the audio systems in all 18 vehicles from Toyota. That would also include Lexus models and the premier Mark Levinson sound systems. It is not easy bringing a product to market is it, I have been in product devolvement, I understand and appreciate the time needed to develop, source materials and execute a product release.

As toastbox noted above some very key points, there are more customers/dealers/suppliers sitting back, watching and waiting for the dust to settle. Taking the high road and offering accurate, actionable data is basic business 101, this level of rederick is unacceptable on any business level. Then again as a business, an open forum is not the optimum choice of communicating with your customers, direct e-mail with a direct response is.

We have an 05 TC, it is currently being supported by the companies listed, though SCION/TRD is one of the primary vendors we are patiently awaiting the S/C, it is likely the introduction of the S/C will go to dealer installed options at port of entry. Though not required by TMS I have been exploring Turbo options for the last several months. I can only surmise that I am not unique, that the size of the audience that is currently watching the actions of both companies is considerable.

I wish both companies the best of luck.

ZPI is the company to be with. I am going this next week to put my stage 0 kit on, and i will let everyone know what I think. Pics are just one of the options, the other is what i am going to race on the way home from their shop. To Kenny and everyone at ZPI, keep up the good work, you know it will be worth it in the end.

Thank,
Coop

By this logic a funny car or a top fuel car is a bolt on car.

bolt-ons are parts you add to the car without busting into the engine internals. sometimes small cylinder head mods are considered bolt-ons, but they are still breaking into the engine so it dont count.

DSM - Making mechanics everywhere.......

ZPi sorry for being a thread *****, I couldnt resist responding to that.

sounds like you are a real stand up company and are willing to show. I applaud. If you ever get any SRT-4 parts added to your main site I will be sure to buy from you! Maybe I might even mod the TC too!!!!!

Last I checked, those were tube-frame cars with one piece fiberglass bodies running blown big blocks. If they are still on a uni-body, they would have a full tub, which definitly isn't a bolt-on (or un-bolt) affair. You fail at making the connection.

Bolt-on parts are, just that. Part's that bolt on. This concept is obviously very difficult for you.

I understand you are angry because you spend all your money fixing your car, no need to personally attack me ;) (sorry its the best I could do, you caught me with my pants down)

If thats what you call bolt-ons then fine, but most of the automotive tuning world doesnt consider rods and pistons bolt ons or take such a literal interpretation of it, because that covers just about every single piece within the car. That would make power adders bolt ons, etc etc...

Actually, the last item I replaced was a wheel bearing, which you will probably need in 10 years as well. I've been lucky to not be cursed with a chassis that's falling apart.

As I said before, it's a PLAY ON WORDS.

Also, be careful making fun of DSM owners for spending all their money fixing their cars. You may be in those same shoes if you buy the wrong turbo kit ;)

will you get back on topic? wtf guys?

This is a very straightforward way to deal with all the BS that has been going on on the forum. I don't think any company here can do such promises in such short deadlines. Good job ZPI. Impressive to say the least.
