hmm, i thought the SC w/o reflash will make the car lean out, thanks ZPi for the info.

how ironic tho coz im getting the reflash as I type this.

Factory BPV
- Im not a fan of atmospheric bov but the supplied BPV is noisy to me, at idle it sounds like its fluttering plastics. ( maybe its just me )

Intake Piping
- I am interested for a replacement but will it be available with any coating to prevent heat soaking ?

Good lord, that is niiiice.

Obviously, K&N and Injen need to come out with an addon pipe for the CAI. Or someone else.

these numbers are awesome!! is it completely 100 percent safe to run this kit w/o the reflash cuase? Did toyota make this reflash for safety reasons ?

Lets wait till they dyno with the wideband to make sure its not leaning out really bad on the top end.

^^^ For emissions reasons, it's the only way they'd get CARB certified.

ZPI What is the duty cycles for the stock injectors? You say they are running rich and I was wondering how high it is, and if this is safe to do.

Well, there is always a way back for the reflash. And it's just a 900 mile drive from me to KY... Eh. I guess intake it is.

With the Matrix SC it gave about 10whp+, but leaned out the car a bit, causing the catalytic converters to burn out prematurely. Same thing might happen to the tC, but in the tC case there is no big warning on the install instructions about "Never use a CAI with this kit".

No point in that, the dyno says enough...

AS for the super dip in power, that would not be from the airbox. That engine looks to be detonating and the ecm yanked timing like no tommorow so a massive falure did not occure. Were those tests on 91 octain or 93 or race gas..?

I am very interested to see the kit dyno'ed on your machine with all items installed as trd meant them to be "forget the crappy abv" but with the 160 degree thermostat, colder 7 or even 8 range spark plugs and the ecm flash. Then do the cold air intake on it

Somthing is just not adding up to me, must be the other guys dyno vs yours for he lagged the torque but had close to the same hp as your first run. Somthing really goofy going on there.. I suspect dyno differences but could be wrong!

Also without the flash, are you guys throwing a cel..??
