wow!!! i wish i would have seen this post before you had the s/c installed. I'm in s.d. and i bought my '07 tc(new) from kearny mesa(worst service ever). to keep this short, kearny mesa charged me $450 for my install at 1st(but due to such poor service, they waived the install price( and $450 is there advertised price. since then i've taken my car to poway for service(not much better) and they quoted me $285 for a boost gauge install(just the install, i had the gauge already).

 

$285 for a boost guage install?!! That recokulous!! I had my pet monkey install mine and it took 20 minutes and all I had to pay him was with a 6 pack of bananas.

 

yeah i Know, thats why im just gonna do it myself.... i wanted them to do it so there would be no reason for them to ever void my warranty (i've had so many problems with my s/c and scion service) but the stealership said it would take 3 hours for a gauge install(maybe if they had a blind monkey doing the job)

 

Atleast yall can shop around install prices. Hawaii its 800 bucks or install it yourself. There is no bend, cuz thers no other toyota dealers. Suzuki Motorcycles is the same way here, only 1 place sells them and thats it.
