08 motor, 06 ecu?

well I have an 06 tC, recently purchased a 08 complete engine for it, will the ecu and everything else be ok with the new engine or do i need to change anything to 08 model.

ok cool, just wasn't sure if the compression difference would play into the factory tuning of the car.

your factory ecu will learn to cope with the new comp ratio.....
