Default 12 psi w/ Meth d-d-d-daily????

So I heard people running some high boost (14+ psi) on stock block, and after being turbo'd, 10 psi at 2xx hp isn't sufficing. I know psi isn't what determines a block to give way and it's more about hp. Obviously many variables must be considered when making power (pipe size, turbo, etc) and I've read that meth injection allows people to run higher boost and prevents engine detonation...

But since there's so many people who've reached amazing heights, and apparently running 10psi is no biggy, has anyone here ran 12 psi with meth on a stock block because it isn't something I commonly hear about.

(sorry for the long intro, just covering my bases before I get flamed)

I've heard of people run 15psi on stock block with a standalone. 12 without meth Is common practice as well

Get a bigger turbo like a 30r, 35r or if u want a cheaper route go with a journal bearing like a 60-1 or a 6262 at 10-12 lbs with any of these above will give u over 300 without an issue. Also I'm sure u can do 12-13lbs without meth just some good tuning but if u ain't close to 300whp I would upgrade turbos

what size turbo do you have now? Like what tom0613 posted above a bigger turbo will most likely give you what your looking for. there has been many people running 10-12 pounds with a good tune with out meth making over 300 safely

Thanks for the input guys. I'm currently running the turbonetics t3/t4 e50 turbo and I heard about people running 12 but I also heard blown pistons and rods at this point. I have an extra turbo laying around that I'd wanna switch, get a better manifold, wastegate + bov, and change my whole IC setup.

It's a gt2876r bb turbo. Apparently its peak hp is around 450 but all I'm looking for in the future is 400 anyway. If everything goes planned, I wanna shoot for 330-350 hp w/ methanol injection running with emanage ultimate. Im going to build my block in the future to handle that kinda power safely but in the mean time run methanol injection to prevent detonation.

I would have a good tune without M and then use meth only for short periods. Some people rely only on Meth to tune with and if you run out then the tune is no good. Meth is a band aid more than anything. I know if you keep a close eye on it should be ok but what happens if you run out of fluid, bottle cracks, nozzle clogs and you tune strictly relying on Meth.

I'm running the Turbonetics E50 on 12 psi, 93 octane and daily... no problems. I'm running the APR X1 ECM tuned by Paul from Dezod.

just like he said. I also do not think there is safety outputs for u to use on the emanage just in case the pump fails or you container is empty. with a safety u can cut boost(electronic boost controller) and retard timing.

Cool, thanks for the heads up guys. I'll keep into consideration of what BK said cuz I heard of a lot of people running meth with their tune, but I also heard it yields higher power if tuned with. Main focus is to up the psi to have more power safely, than have lots of power but rely on a fluid to save me

I understand meth is like a band aid, but if you don't keep "peeling off the scab" you really wouldn't need it right?... As in, if I set the injection to 10psi and higher, but not boost all the way up to 12psi then I wouldn't have to use it all the time. When I boost, I don't always hit 10psi anyway, but just the thought to have that extra power is nice.

@Tom - I'll have to check out those features about the emanage ult. Those sounds like it'll come really handy for what what road I'm planning to go down
