2008 TC TURBO PROBLEM!
i just installed a custom turbo kit. the car runs fine in idle and revs up it bogs around 4000rpms when i release the pressure the car wants to turn off and sometimes does. what could be the cause of this. im running 8 psi with colder spark plugs.

Sounds like you're detonating a bit once the boost goes up. What kind of engine management and fuel are you using? If you have a turbo kit with only spark plugs changed, you need to stop driving your car and get an engine management system.

i had/have the same problem ....
i fixed her with emanage ult. but the only thing is im not sure on how many degrees to set the injection map ... so for now its nice and smooth driving with minimal boost ...
what is happening is your ECU when you hit WOT(wide open throttle) it no longer controls what the injectors inject into the cylinders fuel wise...they pretty much spray as much as they can and when this happens ... its not enough fuel to compensate for the air being crammed into the cylinder hence why you get stuck at 4000 rpms and cant go above that .
if you continue to hit boost like this you will fry your injectors and damage your piston rings ...not advised to do.
save up some cash buy emanage ult. and a A/F ratio gauge and find a tuning shop.
your looking at like 2000 more dollars to do all of that

yeah, the answer is piggyback ecu with proper tuning. i reccomend the aem f/ic. it is a very awesome little system. or you can do emanage blue or ultimate, and get better results with the greddy pressure sensor and dezod black box.
