trdo7, i live in c.t. Ill def contact aem. i had an issue with my wide band and they had pretty good customer service. the thing is practicly brand new too. ill def get both dynos up to compare. i wanted to put my last one up but my wife wont help a guy out. i have no clue how to do it.

so i met this kid today that has a 08 sti( i think) thats making 315whp. him and his freinds were going crazy for my car. He asked if i wanted to run him. Normally id pass but i figured wth, let me test it out. well he walked me by 2 cars the 1st race and 1 car the 2nd. It was really embarissing. I thought my car would do better. Im a good driver so dont even say thats the reason

 

hmm maybe going to the track more and getting another tuner would help......

definately an issue here...my car with a blown piston ring readin 70 in compression put 3 car son a 08 sti with full bolt ons and a tune...

Did you race that STI from a dead stop or from a roll ?

 

It has to be a roll. There is no way in hell he can compete with a sti from a dig

Like I said before you cant compete with a sti. Only Way you can is if the driver doesn't know how to launch his awd car. But hey 2 cars getting beat by a sti is not that bad. Considering it has over 300whp. I mean that's if you guys didn't pass 1/4 mile. What mph did you guys stop at?

 

Yea but if its truly making only 315mph and from a roll, he should have destroyed the STI. STI was probably brake boosting on him and all he did was mash the gas. Only way I could explain it. I have beaten STI's (stock and modded) from a roll, and a modded WRX from a dig. And I was pushing that much power.

 

No! Lol I know I'm sayin is he can beat that sti from a roll only. Bu from a dig that sti will destroy his Tc unless his Tc had drag radials or better. Or if the sti driver didn't know how to launch his car.

 

If you going to race from a dig, it should be at the drag strip.

we stopped @ 100mph. and rhytmn i didnt brake boost and believed he did since he instantly jumped a car ahead of me. I asked him afterwards and he swore he didnt, I feel like me having the gt35 is killing my spool time?

 

Another thing Is....
The guy in the sti could have been lying about his numbers or psi.

I'm just sayn. I ran a new Evo from a dig back in December.
Evo said he was at 315 whp.

He jumped out on me like 3-4 cars but I realed him in by mid 4th gear.

Just sayn.
