you know, i thought about 7", being that it is one of my lucky numbers, and relatively the size of my SHWANG, but technically speaking, 7 inch is not possible because it's not going to fit, which is ironic, because some girls have said that to me too.

A big exhaust does NOT equate an open down pipe. That's just moronic to think.

dude are you serious?
ur gonna go to the muffler shop and the guys are gonn laugh at you. do u research before you do anything?

with that big of an exhaust ur gonna do nothin but lose power! u'll never make enough power to justify a 5 INCH DIAMETER exhaust!

okay, in the name of physics, it's not EXACTlY an open down pipe, but it is the closest thing you'll get to one. basically, the idea is to have as much flow as you can, and this is the one of the larger optionns you can opt for. what's moronic about that. it makes sense.

my friends grandma used to own a tow company that had an auction ever other week. a mutual friend once said
"you know how we can come up on some money? we can just take a couple of cars from the auction and sell them on the side. NOONE WILL KNOW"

i think these people are sharing the same brain waves. that is absolutely rediculous to have a butthole that big. because if i was behind you and you shot carbon blow by all over my PW car i would ram your car into a wall. just my 2 cents

Total waste of space on a tC. Granted, with a turbo, you can get your scavenging without needing as small of an exhaust, but after a point you are simply allowing the gasses after the turbo to cool longer while in the system, thus making them harder to move. A small effect here, but just a sign that you are overdoing things. An open header is NOT the same as a 5 inch pipe the length of the car. While the gas is still in the pipe, the system still has to move it.

And backpressure is not what the system needs, backpressure is just a symptom that comes along with what the car needs: enough restriction to create the effect that best works for the intake and exhaust process.

u don't want ur scion to look like the back of a rocket ship..and the last big coffe can I saw like that I put my foot in..then it got stuck and I fell over but yeah no need for 5'' costum set up just wasted cash moneys
