5 inch catback exhaust?

Why don't you also do it in PVC so it will be more light weight!!

Funniest thing I have ever heard you say.
that's signature material there.
though i don't have enough room in mine... wanna do the honors?
can I have the honor of putting it on my sig?

sure its possible... instead of getting a 4-2-1 header... just do 4-2 and then from there split off to 2 seperate front pipes heading back...

why dont you just take the hole exhaust system off and runn it completely open.. your sacraficing torque for horsepower.. which in the long run you go faster.. but your slowly gonna get there. versus a quick take off.. and if you do it for racing.. a quick take off seems more important to me
You are not sacrificing torque for hp. HP is a measured result of how torque is applied at a given point on the powerband, period, that is it. So if you sacrifice low end torque, to be worth it at all you need to increase torque higher in the band so you are producing more power there. And engine doesnt produce hp, it produces torque at a given rpm, which we measure by calculating hp. Think of it as an index of how well we are applying the torque at various rpm levels.
And there is much more to it than simply thinking if you cut off the pipe you sacrifice this for this. Exhaust is the most commonly misunderstood thing about performance I think. Exhaust pulse, length and size of tubing, relative length of the header pipes used to utilze the pulses properly and making it all work to produce the scavenging effect you need to get the power where you need it are all things that a true exhaust designer takes into account.
