On another note, I HATE the lag from the new turbo. lol Im starting to kinda miss my 16g. lol I love the power at the top end though. So, Ive been thinking, need you guys opnion ( no flame allowed) do you guys think a GT35R would make a huge difference in spool time? Or not too much difference? Cuz my other thought is trying a different hot side (smaller) and sacrificing big power. I havent even really tapped into the power of this turbo yet, and I like the power its making now. Just wanna know how small of a hot side could I go to make the same power (450-500) and spool hell of alot quicker.
whats you hotside size right now? i would say stay at 0.63 hot side or no more than 0.83.. a larger compressor wheel.. gt35 will prolly spool faster i dont think its gonna be a night or day difference though maybe like 200rpms faster.. oh is this a drag or road race?

Its a .63 hot side. Guess IM just very used to my 16g... spools @ 4200 RPM but with 16g it was like 28-3000 RPM
thats a pretty high lag for a 60-1 .63, as far as i can remember those using that turbo spools around less than 4K or so.. gt35s i think spools at 3500-3700.. if you want faster spool maybe a gt3076 will be better, mine spools at 3000 to 3200ish.. just max of 500 hp though
Get an HTA turbo from forced performance. We put te same HTA35R's on two STi's. Only spooled ~500rpms slower than the stock turbo. They have a great line of turbos from the HTA68's, FP green and reds, and i think they make all the way up to a 40r.
