well... since I've been looking to build the block, weve kinda been thinking about really pushin the envelope. What if the 2az could take 500whp at least on the dyno?

 

I vote make a pass at the drag strip on current whp rather than more power on the dyno.

Axles should be good if you slip the clutch. But if you don't run Drag radials at least, you will be going no where....fast.

Neogens are great for commutimg. For the price u can have direzzas or re11 my direzzas have more grip aired down then bfgdrag radial but neogens are a nice long lasting summer tire

Idk about all that. I rock both tires (direzza, and the bfg's) I still spin like crazy in 2nd w/ the direzzas.
I think both tires do there jobs.

I wish, there was a tire that could Do both(street/strip) with out chewing up tires.

 

From what I understand, Neo Gens are for cars that are lowered and usually eat up the inside tread. They are not great for cars with any kinda power. Im thinking of maybe going Nitto Invo's for daily driving... as far as something with grip for the track? Im not sure...

 

neogens = the suck.. Cheap and made for vip style cars..

Your right about needing some better tires. Heck for your power maybe some DR's =D

 

I have them. But im stock. For me they are great.
