Default 9 psi pulley w/o reflash?

Does anyone know if this is doable, or will it have some adverse consequences?

different pulley still = no warranty regardless. I know munch was driving around without a reflash for awhile but he never said what kind of pulley he was rockin, try to pm him or wait til he chimes in.

its possible, but without a doubt it will have negative effects on the engine in the long run. the main purpose of the reflash is to change the timing, and without that, your engine will die after a while.

Stock pully + no reflash = no warranty

You need the reflash to make a warranty claim on the supercharger

Tuning is the most important part of a good FI setup. The TRD reflash is designed to help with fuel delivery and change timing. Boosting the car without the reflash is a BAD idea even with the stock 7psi pulley. Do the reflash and then upgrade the pulley.

i wouldnt do it. its highly inadvisable by toyota and a bunch of toyota mechanics i know. the sc without the reflashes leans out the motor. with the extra boost you're putting in with the smaller pulley will only make it lean out even more. which is not what you want.

get the reflash then see where to go from there.
