Anyone know the cheapest place to buy an EMS for my 07?

 

Check the Classifieds... I thought I saw one in there not long ago.

 

Was it new or used?

 

I really don't recall. That's why I say to have a look there and see.

 

the only cheaper deal you can get is a used one.. only dezod sells aem ems for the tc and no one else, still i think the price for it right now is great

I know there is a brand new hydra ems up for sale right now

 

aem is a more tuner friendly software..

hydra is easy and great.. but more tuners work with aem!

Yeah, i've heard great things about Hydra as well but CFT (local) are gods when it comes to AEM EMS...

 

anyone that tunes aem can tune hydra.. even their basic tuning tables are almost identical and concepts and calibration are straight forward.. actually a noob will understand tuning better starting with a standalone.. but really its preference, of course certified aem tuners will recommend aem and your decision should be more on price and you tuners choice

 

I've never seen the Hyrda in action on screen but I would imagine they made it pretty user friendly. The Hydra costs a little more than the AEM so that alone is enough to convince me

 

Unfortunately you cannot buy the harness separate from the box.

The unit is a modified box. We sell the unit and harness together as one.

If you are interested in a new AEM EMS for your car let us know and we will get you taken care of. 07-09 harness have flying leads for the AC if you decide you want to hook it up. Some people don't want it and remove it for weight savings and room in the engine bay.
