Default AEM fuel/ignition controller and 2009 tC?

Does anyone have a 2009 tC and AEM's fuel/ignition controller wired up and working? I am planning on getting one for my tC, but only have read and seen them working on 05 to 08 tcs.

Any input would be appreciated

Thanks
Brandon

Alright thanks guys, that's what I wanted to "read" lol.

Another thing is that I called AEM and they told me that they didn't make a pnp harnes, it's just an extension for your ECM harness so you only have to splice into the aftermarket one. Is this true, cause I thought I read PnP on AEM's site?

Thanks again

they do....i wonder about those people sometimes...dezod sells em..hit up paul for more info, screen name is paul_dezod. He will give you all the info you need and sell you one.

that is unless your car is an 07-up then no Aem doesnt sell the AEM FIC with a pnp harness. they sell the 05-06 pnp harness with the fic. idk why they dont offer the 07-up but it is what it is. either way Paul can hook you up with what you need, just give em a call.

Well, AEM's outa stock on extension harness' so they say I'll have to wait 2 more weeks despite there late September post date of having them in stock. (The 30-2988 )Not a problem, just want it in and done asap so I know it'll work.

Extension harness is stupid when the PnP's you don't have to splice/tap anything. Just plug-n-play unless you really really like soldering and heat shrink lol.

ECM is different for the newer tCs so I can't a PnP for my 09. AEM doesn't have one and don't know how long that'll take. I guess I could wait depending on how long it takes. For now, Im waiting on their stock replinishment.

The reason aem is telling you they dont make one, is because they dont. AEM doesnt make the plug and play harness - its other companies, such as boomslang, and I believe someone else also makes them - but not AEM themselves. Also the 07-up harness will work just fine the ecu didnt change.
