Default Alternative Superchargers ? ?

Does anyone know any alternative Superchargers to the TRD? I understand things would need to be fabbed, but just curious as to if anyone has used anything else?

I don't know of anyone running a SC that isn't the TRD unit. I'm sure that for the right ammount of money, you could run just about any SC you wanted.

What's the maximum amount of boost the TRD puts out? 9.5 with pulley?

the supercharger itself is i think good up to like 20 psi, but the problem is that you can't make the supercharger spin fast enough because of the ratios of the crank pulley and the supercharger pulley.

also the engine bay isn't very well situtated for different superchargering because of the layout of the engine comparent and such.

and nobody else is really looking into making their own version of a supercharger for the tc because it would be pointless. you have a choice between two superchargers, one by trd that come with a warranty, and one from somebody else that doesn't have any kind of warranty.

Well, I thought I'd see if anyone had done it. There was someone talking about doing it way back in 2006 if I recall.. but I wasn't sure if there had been any other developments.. I just started checking the forums again so *shrug*.

Thanks for the input guys
