Am I good to go now?
ok people, i take good care of my 07tc auto i drive so i want to put a 10,000 shot in it and..... no just playin ,hehe.
I AM cautious about installing a turbo kit on my car but am ready to do it now and there is no turbo kit out there that comes with..... everything, so PLEASE let me know if i am forgetting anything and i will list some things that may not be necessary but like i said before, i am considerate of my car and want it to be just as safe and reliable after the install vs before the install.
This is an automatic-
Dezod S1 kit
Dezod exhaust system
Greddy Pressure sensor
Ball Bearing turbo
Black Jet Coating
Samco Hoses (blue)
Upgrading the ECM to Greddy Ultimate
Dezod Partial Throttle Tuning Black Box (prevents leaning at low rpms)
NGK Iridium 1 step colder spark plugs gapped to .044
Turbo Timer
Gauges - EGT\Boost-Vacuum\tranny temp\oil pressure\AFR but unknown as from whom.
Convert tranny to synthetic
Now onto the wonderful questions...
Greddy E-Manage Ultimate - Are there any harnesses that come with it or do i need to purchase them?
According to Greddy's website, there are no harnesses made for the 05-07 tCs...
Also, i have NO IDEA whatsoever as to how these gauges and sensors are installed. Can someone tell me if they HAVE TO BE ran thru the ECM? or are they independent from the ECM?
Am i missing any harness requirements for this ECM for what i want to run?
Which Wideband to go with?
I prefer to use Autmeter's C2 AFR gauge. Can i do this without problem? It still uses the same Bosch Sensor as what comes with AEM's different UEGO packages.
Do i need this "Bung" thing that goes in the exhaust pipe or will the tuner\installer have\make one?
And one more question-
Several companies sell pod kits that go the A-pillar. I have yet to read a factual statement about this, just guesses.
If i am in a wreck, do the airbags deploy out of the A-pillars or directly above the side window? If they deploy, will they shoot the aftermarket A-pillar pod off the vehicle?
If i am forgetting anything, you better let me know,
I'll be buying better brakes... if i notice a difference to where i might need them.

dezod sells a plug and play harness for the greddy emanage ultimate. but i think the AEM f/ic is better than emanage ultimate.
and from what i think you have forgotten is auto tranny cooler, you should get one.
and i think you should get the cat'ed downpipe dezod offers, keeps your car nice and legal.
i think most anywhere would be able to install a bung for you.
i think krdshrk has side airbags with an a-pillar mount gauge pod, but i would rather get the ati e-pod that sits on top the center console, and one gauge down in the storage cubby.

well so far, sounds good.
Dezod's auto kit comes with a tranny cooler
I'll talk to Dezod later about the F/IC vs ultimate
i never knew Dezod had a cat'ed downpipe!!, Mua, ha, ha, hehe( at least it wasnt an option for the auto kit, need to talk to them to find out why)
Thanks for the info.

Hey, the cated DP from dezod does not make the car "LEGAL", it makes it pass smog. A turbo on our car is illegal.
Now, I beleive the ultimate has a pressure sensor included, so you don't need that, and with a pressure sensor, you can tune off boost, so you don't need the black box either.
The AEM F/IC is great, true, but finding a tuner who is great with it is not as easy as findinga greddy tuner...yet.
