Well I just replaced my Maf with a brand new OEM one. Wow didn't relize how bad my original was, its was like getting a fresh tune on the car..also yes i did try cleaning it, was better for alittle bit but was getting alot of Maf circuit high codes still. Just figured i would mention it because i have 90k on mine and for the $141 bucks i spent im extremly happy with the results.

Its was pretty dirty and the car did run better after cleaning it.. I wonder if cleaning it on a regular bases would have extended its life. the thing is it may have just been to far gone because as soon as i switched to the new one what a differance. My idle and deacceleration are much improved even the sound of the exhaust changed. My assumption is the car was running rich from inaccurate readings. Case in point my gas millage went from 19.4 mpg avg to 21.3 following tank.

I reached 113k on mine and the MAF finally cut out. I changed my air filter, go to start my car and it sounded like a Subaru. Cleaned the MAF and still nothing so i didn't know wtf was wrong. I unplugged the MAF and it ran the same, so i figured that had to be the issue. Called up Advanced Auto Parts, $141 without core - $50 back with core. Now the car runs allot better.

Yeah i purchased the oem one. It listed for $175 but i get 20% off dealer to dealer discount being that i work at a acura dealer down the road.. Sucks i get 30% off at my place but im done with Hondas, I think toyotas are more robust vehicles and i dont have to sleep with one eye open and a shot gun..
