I think you need to be a little more specific on the sound. Is it like a sucking sound? If so, that's just the turbo spooling up.
did alot of reading and I think im all set the only thing going on here is the previous owner had the boost to high for one and for two I dident understand turbo enough. What going on is the car will not get traction until 4th gear and I thought something else was going on. The only issue I have is at idle the car gous from 500-1000 rpms over and over any ideas on this?
This can be fixed in the emanage correct? Can you give me any insite on how to correct it? What should the afr be given the application? Can I see the afr in the emanage software? I added the car specs the best I could to my profile.
sounds like you bought a pretty good setup. unfortunately, you won't be able to fix this emanage tune issue. you need someone familiar with the software. Tunes from performance shops usually go for about 500 dollars.
I dont have any problem taking the car to a shop (if I could just find one) but I really would like to learn how to do this myself and completely understand the process. Can anyone provide some good resources to learn how to do this tuning with the emanage?
Truthfully I would rather learn how to do it. Do you know of any place I can learn how to do the tune using the emanage? I am very good with computers and a quick learner when it comes to something I have interest in. If I had to drive I wouldent want to go more than an hour or two. Im the type of person that will take apart stuff just to see how it works then put it back together. I had one of these tcs 2 years ago unboosted and liked the car. Now I have this one and its a whole new world for the TC. I can see myself as capable of tunning a turbo TC in the near future. I guess what I need to know is from someone who tunes now. What I need to know from them is where do I get started to learn how to do this. If someone asked me how to becoma a system administrator I would tell them to become best friends with cisco and microsoft and the rest will fall into place. This is the same type of thing I am looking for just a point in the right direction from someone who knows tunning to get me started.

First of all welcome to the forum. Second, learn some basic grammatical skills my friend, is this seriously what they teach you in school today?
Dear god ... please tell me that you have a learning disability, if not, I am worried for the future of humanity.
1 - English is not my strong point and I truthfully don’t care to get any better at it. 2 - Didn’t you ever listen when mom told you if you don’t have anything good to say then don’t say anything at all? 3- If you can’t contribute constructively to the question being presented why don’t you go play in traffic with a blind fold this way someone with something important to say can post. “The future of America” spoken like a true employee. Let me give you a little advice you don’t need to be grammatically correct in the real world you only need to know who to hire to be grammatically correct on your behalf. So sorry for my lack of proper grammar I was not aware I was being graded. How am I doing teach?
tc1003, don't mind him. I think what he is trying to say is that it is hard to understand when you don't write in proper grammar online. The easier it is to read on our side, it makes us more likely to understand your problem and help you through it.
Anyways, if you want to learn how to tune the ultimate, I believe rhythmnsmoke can lead you in the right direction to where to read up on it. Give him a PM.
