cars doin good just got my garret 60-1 in and custom 3" downpipe made also added some meth, i think were raising the redline to like 7800 this week and see how it handles it, i had it at 7300 and it felt really good 7800 should be real niceeee, ya i heard about AJ's car at a car meet, a guy on SFR with a boosted probe made fun of him when i said "me and you should be a good race i got a boosted TC" and he goes "i raped a fully built one on like 24 psi, his names AJ u might know him" i was like "uhh well he fails at driving or something lol" probe only puts out like 360whp, but ya check out my shops BBQ grand opening day on sept 26th, the thread is in the Southeast section, we prob gonna have like 4 other boosted tc's here

 

wow sure would like to know who's spreading that rumor. i know for a fact that his car has never seen more than 19psi and was making around 420whp last time it ran. dont believe everything you hear.

 

Aj car is the blue one right? i saw it on the lift when i went to tune on there dyno dynamics. i made 365whp on 18 psi and with my old back housing that was .48ar and no meth lol! now i plugeed the meth back in and have a .63ar back housing i just need to change my stage 1 wheel to a stage 5 wheel and i should be good as gold. and i wil keep my redline at 6500 till i come up with money and get my head worked. also need a 3 inch downpipe my downpipe is no good cause it keeps coming out the turbine housing. the bolts keep coming off for some reason i think its all the movement of the engine making them vibrate off.

 

That Probe owner is a very experienced driver and his car weighs about 2750lb with him in it.. He drives around in DRs and will even bring slicks to a race. His car is no joke.. 119mph traps is nothing to scoff at.

Marcelo - I think your exhaust wheel was equivalent to a Stage 3 before you got the Stage 5 - but I can vouch that Marchelo's ride is fast as ****. I'm glad you saddled up and got your motor built - 19lb on a 60-1 feels really nice!

 

eh ima take a video of me taking a dump on the probe, and to rub it in were tuning me on 110 just for that race.

 

That's fine - I'm not saying no one can beat him - but if you do, just compare what you have and what he has...

A Ford Probe with a stock motor at 14psi making 360whp pump gas and an experienced driver vs a fully built Scion TC with a large turbo at 19+psi on 110 octane.. Doesn't even sound fair... but promise to get it on video regardless of the outcome. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for you.. but it doesn't seem like an even match-up.

 

his car weighs 2400 lbs... he weighs 200.. he has a huge weight advantage, his has a 6 cylinder motor with a t04e turbo with a .63 exhaust housing, he flat foot shifts every gear, a scion tc is an economy 4 cylinder.. nuff said. and hes been upping the boost to 16 psi lately for the runs

 

lol your TC is not the average economy car anymore. If you were on a stock motor then I would understand.. I think Mike's TC with the stock motor at 365whp would be a better match even though he has a slight weight disadvantage.

lol his motor is pretty much equivalent to ours lol his he is a 6 cyl but a 2.5 lol not very impressive! yes his car weighs less and his car is not a one wheel wonder. and who cares if you beat a guy talk talks trash lol. i wouldnt be happy for me beating a douche bag lol. i'll be happy winning cause i out drove the guy and my car is faster point blank. me personally dont have anything to prove to someone that thinks he is the fastest or think a car is slower lol. thats a joke. yuh cars running good ROB but not as good as when i get my 3 inch exhuast and Downpipe! and make the tune a lil more aggressive with a stage 5 wheel. lol i dunno i looked up my part number and its a otrim meaning pretty much a stage 1. if you go to masterpower website and put my part number it will say 60-1 stage 1. so i dunno. you going tomorrow i'm still debating if i go or not. if i fix my exhuast leak and oil leak tomorrow i will go if not nope not going.

rob i havent gotten a stage 5 wheel yet. lol need a lil more funs for that and my part number on my turbo says its a stage 1 60-1 on the master power website. so my stage 1 60-1 running good lol

 

Fyi - O trim and P trim are for T4 exhaust wheels... your exhaust wheel is 52.2mm (2.055in) exducer and 61.5mm (2.42in) exducer.

So comparing that to a Garrett equivalent staged exhaust wheel, you have a wheel larger than a Stage 1 but smaller than Stage 2.

And if you did get an O-trim (which Masterpower is known to do.. use a T4 wheel in a T3 housing) then you have a wheel that is larger than a T3 Stage 3 exhaust wheel.

 

With the rpm increase the close gearing I think you will find not to be that bad. Good luck man, keep us posted.

 

i noticed ur only making power from like 5800 to redline, whys the power band like that? should be making power sooner
