You're not going to see 280whp on Ptuning's dyno just to let you know. I made 249whp on their dyno (dyno dynamics) with a Dezod S1 kit, 2.5" Exhaust, and a Agency Power lightweight pulley. This does translate into ~280whp on a dynojet tho, and I would think you will be somewhere close to that. Despite your smaller turbo, your open WG, catless DP, and more boost should put you somewhere around there

It took 11.6PSI and a 3 inch exhaust on a TT kit to crack 280whp on PTUNING's 2400 AWD dyno dynamics.

I'm at 9.5psi, 2.5" catback (magnaflow), vibrant resonator, T3/T4 turbo, lightweight crank, alternator and wp pulleys, upgraded cc stage 4, recirculated dump, upgraded walbro 255lph fuel pump and didn't crack 260whp...(258whp).

If I upgrade the exhaust which i'm not going to do and get rid of the resonator which I plan on doing i'll gain much more power but i'm happy where I am now. I'll loose the resonator now that I don't have the header and won't have to worry about horrid rasp.

Yeah Toan was telling us about your numbers. He said you produced some pretty decent numbers but like you said with a 3" exhaust he could've squeezed out a little more.

Our trip didn't turn out so well. He started off with a baseline pull to see where my boys car was at first before he started tuning and he produced 224whp/206wtq. After trying to install his MBC controller he noticed that the car would spike to 9psi then drop all the way down to 3psi. After trying out 3 different controllers he realized that there was something wrong with our wastegate. So unfortuantely after a 5hr drive we find out that we have to replace the wastegate, which he didn't have in stock, then come back. Other than that Toan was great and the customer service there is unmatched. We should be heading back there by next month or two depending on if we can find a reasonably priced Tial wastegate.

Toan said there was much more power left to be made but I had a lot of restriction. Even the way the magnaflow muffler is made causes restriction. If I get a straight through 2.5" setup then I will see increases but most likely i'll just get the resonator removed and settle with that.

Toan said my setup was really quiet, which I like, i'm a fan of the sleeper look and sound.

I don't think i'll be going 3" I want the car in a position where it is easy to revert back to stock and have no issues, I think i'll loose too much pressure with a 3" exhaust if I needed to do that. With the turbo pressure takes a back seat but NA it matters.

Yeah thats what he said. You have one of the quietest setups he's ever heard. unfortunately for me and my setup he said i have to go with no less than a 3" exhaust from the turbo back so sleeper for me is def out the picture. lol

For us our issue is something that he's never seen before but after trying so many different things he narrowed it down to the wastegate. Hey said the minute we change the wastegate we should feel an instant difference.

I have a 38mm here if you guys need it.

I bought it used but I never used it. I think I have a brand new gasket for it too that I bought from Dezod.

Shoot me an address and I can get it to UPS when I go to send off these AEM gauges.

It is a T'netics 38mm but it is essentially the same as my TiAL that I have on my car, the only difference is the name on it.

I'll get it out no later than Friday. I have to find it, I know I have it since I packed it, I just moved so I have boxes everywhere.
