Really considering boosting over the summer, but ill be hitting 70,000 miles by then too. Just wondering if it would be a good idea or not. Any insight is welcome...

 

I put on my turbo in the mid 60k's and it is still running fine at 84k. As long as you have taken care of your car, there is no reason you shouldn't be fine.

 

You should be fine, do a compression test before hand to double check compression if you are worried about anything. But as long as you get a good tune and keep up on maintenance you should be ok

I was boosted from 60k till 97k This time, going turbo lol

 

^ I take that back. My engine just broke today. Lol. It doesn't turn on and right before, giant knocking all over. You could literally hear it 1 mile away!

 

for a second i thought you meant 70k rpm and i was wondering to see why you would ever want to spin that fast..

i put by turbo on at 37 and am at 50.. Like every one said if you have taken care of the car you have nothing to worry about. Start using synthetic oil and premium gas to get ready..

Yeah it really happened lol. It happened 4 days after I took off my supercharger off.
