I've never used either, but I like the products from both companies.
I have the AEM Tru Boost which is a boost gauge and a boost controller. It is not nearly as advanced as any of the other boost controllers, but it knocks out 2 parts in one, and it sits in my gauge pod.

I have a nearly brand Greddy PRofec B-Spec2 new for sale if you are interested. Only reason I am selling it is because I am using a stand alone now.

AVC-R is far more superior than the Profec B. The valving on the AVC-R and the functionality are far more superior when comparing the 2.
