turbo r32 will be nice, but theres not many kits out for it, theres 1 that i know of that u send ur R to them for 15k or somthing and they send it back twin turbo.....

i wouldnt do twin turbo on the r32 its not a v6, its a vr6, so it flows more like an I6 compared to a v6 in my opinion, id go single big turbo forsure.......

adam at wolfcars working on a turbo kit for his R32, its really nice now, has a haldex AWD Ecu, made the power displacement 60/40 as opposed to the stock 80/20.....its has an intake manifold (<--- need 1 if you boost the new r32 the intake mani's dont hold up) watermeth full exhaust and a 125 shot! lol but theyre loosing the nitrous and going boost, excited to see the r32 on boost.

r32s i heard are not selling, but there numbers are thin so my chances of finding one new are slim, so my dream of leasing one may not happen if there are only used r32s out there (mk5 not mk4)

Hey so heres a small update, I got my car towed home today from my mechanic where he diagnosed what is wrong. Rods are bent cylinder walls are of course damaged, pistons are damaged and crankshaft may be hurt. I don’t have the money to drop this second for a brand new motor or a whole new rebuild, so shes parked up at my house, I plan on leasing a new car and rebuilding the tC over the next couple of months. Getting a new car has been on my mind for some time, not cause Im sick of the tC I just want something that’s reliable day to day. Now I can do what iv always wanted to do and go all the way and not worry about sacrificing daily drivability. Im not going to want to drive a fully built tC motor on boost every day to work to fiu to back home then out and so forth. Plus getting rid of the tC now in the condition it is in, is an epic waste of money & I cant just get rid of the tC without finishing what I started.

Building the motor’ gona be exciting, cant wait to get my hands dirty and learn about all the internal workings of our 2azfe’s. in the meantime while my car is parked, Im removing my turbo kit over the next couple of days and doing some modifications, I took some pics of some random parts that I took off the car, some other damaged need to get replaced as well. Im really looking into relocating my MAF to my TB-IC pipe and running open turbo inlet w/ a filter or mesh. I was also thinking about a new manifold but the only manifold worth getting would be an EL Turbo Toyota manifold, I wanted ptuning mani but I would have to almost get a whole new turbo kit. So I think my best move would be to send my manifold (cast iron ftw!) to jet hot get a coating, I also wana take my .63trim.70ar 60-1 Garrett turbo to get a 360 thrust bearing assembly, clean it off get the rust off the exhaust housing.

Check out some pics I took:

Heres my downpipe & spipe….when the car was driving I had a leak I could hear that was drivin me nuts it was the flex pipe check out the carbon buildup

heres my MAF check out the damage, a while back I popped the plastic covering to the voltage reader……I had a replacement MAF but the damaged one worked at th time, no longer have the new MAF but I should go pick one up now, MAF’s are direct bolt on no? you dot need to tune or reprogram anything ? seeing as you get the proper maf for the proper model.

oh and here is a picture of my turbo intake out of my car, it has a flange for an 05-06 tC MAF, im thinking about getting rid of it as I mentioned before, anyone interested in taking it off my hands ? heres a picture..

heres a shot of the intake installed on my turbo setup

If you get the EL manifold, ceramic coat it.

^^

I wish I did on mine.

id love to get that manifold man, but on TT website its like 1200 thats expensive, my best bet is to get one here on the classfields but if i dont get my hands on one i see nothing wrong w/ my Cast iron mani, i love it, thing is bulletproof it wont make as much power as EL mani, but ill jet hot it and itll run nice.

or u could go standalone bryan and not need the MAF at all sheesh. Be a big boy and forget the ultimate. Log style will only take u so far as well. 400+ on log style starts to suck. Full 3" exhaust at those #'s would be sick as well, let it flow, let it spool.

my downpipes only 2.5 on the initial bend connected to turbo, rest of the downpipe tapers to 3'' & a 3'' spipe. 2.5''catback exhaust....ill make it a full 3'' to a muffler

http://car-part.com/

They will list every salvage yard in your area, if they have tC blocks, what the price is and what the mileage is. Some even ship. One of our club members had his crank walk and score the bearings, he got his for under $500 shipped. I decided to local pickup for my block, and with a 2 hour drive I got a 1NZ-FE w/ 52k miles on it for $250.

Lol everyone always encourages me to use a 60-1 turbo haha. Maybe I should just get a 307R instead lol. We can't be parked buddies yet because my motor isnt completely fried yet. It's fried to the point to where my compression is 75-85 across all 4 cylinders lol. Just waiting for it to shut down on me. Then we can be parked buddies!

After this retarded build, i'm leaning towards removing the balance shaft . I think you should do the same!
