Dropped mine in about 2 months ago in early May '10. Has 5000 miles on it haha - dont know how Ive managed that. JE 9:1 pistons, K1 rods, ACL mains/rod bearings and thrust, ARP Head studs, Cometic HG - all the rest is stock. Entire motor and the rest of the work was built in my garage lol - minus the machine work which was done at a great company here in OKC - Buddy Rice Precision Engine - to be honest some of the best guys Ive had the privileged of working with.

Ohh, guess I should mention - still runnin strong

ERL built and sleeved block.
JE pistons 9.0:1, K1 rods, ACL bearings, ERL/Darton Sleeves, deleted balancers.

Dezod built head.
Rev valves, titanium retainer, BC stage 2 cams..pretty much everything what can be done in the head except PnP.

Installed fall 09.
only have 500 miles and 35+ miles of that was dyno and tuning... I'm deployed so i only got a chance to drive the car on leave back in jaruary.

OK..

1st - ERL Perfomance Built in like 08 JE Pistions, K1 Rods, Sleeved, Super Decked, Block Gaurd, ACL COATED bearing.. Carv2 PNP head with Dezod Head components minus the valve guides.. Running on the Ultimate with just 850cc and a 255 walboro pump. Went good till the timing sprocket on the crank snapped after a couple months after my first tune and grenaded the head.. 15lbs Stongest it's every ran..

2nd - Still the same ERL Block decided to Swayne Tech coat the new pistons bearings and what ever else.. Dezod Full PNP head. And still running on the Ultimate with 15 lbs Blew out 3rd gear completely no teeth.

3rd - Still the same ERL Block And Dezod Full PNP head. with arp mains this time. New - BC Cams, Descendant intake manifold, Fuel Return System, And on the Ems and a Quaife/TRD diff in the trans.. Street tuned for about 15lbs.. Ran strong but never got it to it's full pontential.. Snapped an Axle..

4th - *(Current) ERL Block still doing good and just ripped her down and she's ready to be put back together for some more.. But Got a Dezod Full Built Speced out engine with New Dezod PNP head with 1mm bigger Valves, New Cams, New intake mani cable controlled, going run Aem EMS full stand alone with a new fuel setup. AND bigger turbo and new turbo manifold full custom pipes and intercooler setup.. and water meth.. We'll see hopefully this year what she does...

5th - thinking about for the ERL block BC storker kit bored out to a 2.6.. we'll see..

I normally replace and go bigger as something breaks or is needed. But the built ERL Block has been through a stuff load and still amazes me on everytime i pulled her apart she look just as good as i put her together.. Minus the carbon build up inwhich is very minor.. .....

Never had much vibrations at all.. And i had solid Polly mount front and rear. Only on engaging the stage 4 four puck sprung disc on a 12 lbs flywheel.. She road smoothly as a stock block.. Hit Chintastic up, he's been in person with the car since the beginning. Know's the inside and outside of the car as much as I do.

Barely feel it at all. I did that and the energy mounts at the same time so I think the mounts give me alittle.....I dont think its from the shafts.

Lol cranky walk! Lol cars down again my crank spit out the thrust bearing. I dropped the pan and guess what I saw!!!! Nice glitter sand lol. Guessing the bearings wear. And the nice thrust bearing was just laying in my oil pan. So now putting in acl race bearing instead of those clevite bearings. And soon to change my pressure plate.
By the way I have wiseco 9.0 pistons, k1 rods, clevite bearings, balance shaft delete. Rev valves, rev dual wound spring and retainers.
Was at over a year strong but then melted piston and now this! Might rebuild or just sell the car. Dunno yet.
