can this be done...
From what I remember it was very difficult tunning what ever computer they were using to work with one another, twin charging is just too difficult to tune, I think they only got about 300HP out of it.
i remember this was at a HIN show years back. Twincharging was a hot thing for the mini cooper S and redline/cobalt ss guys on their eaton's/roots style s/c, but seems retarted to me on a centrifical setup. To answer the question can it be done......you posted a pic of it.....so you answered your own question. Not worth the time and $$$ to me. I wonder how long that shaft lasted with the hotside of the turbo being closer than the runners.
Note: For the roots style mini and redline/cobalt guys, they twincharged to run large turbos with no or little lag. Full boost on the eaton at any rpm at WOT would spool the large turbo easily. Then the boost from the turbo would go straight into the s/c and be multiplied again. Look it up on youtube, pretty nasty stuff. how they took this concept to a centrifical where boost is rpm dependent defeats the purpose of practicality.....so obviously it was only done for show

I wouldn't say its worthless. They tuned this twin setup with a custom hydro EM. It was primarily just a show ride but could have made some serious power if the owner didn't give up on it.
^^ And where are you getting that assumption? And what you do mean by "consistent"?
If your curves are not consistent, then you have something terribly wrong with your motor or your tune.. regardless of how you're induced.

Its not realistic because the time, money, and resources are not worth the minimal gains (if any) over another setup. It's different, and cool I give it that. But you have to bored and thinking of ways to waste money.
Ok im locking this cause the OP asked me too and yea its for show an not worth it anyways. It sure looks cool but i really dont think that supercharger would last long anyways. You got a super heat sink in that shaft no with that turbo sitting there and we all know the supercharger ran hot as ____ already!
