idk if one inch youll really notice anything but then again your lowered so its kinda hard to fit a taller tire on em unless you go down in size for your rim.......i see wher your going with it.

haha i know its weird on texas to have a real snow.. careful driving though, its more dangerous here when most people dont know how to drive in snow..

question for carbon, are you still keeping that 296 hp tune? do you plan doing it on a dynojet to see how much difference is on the two dyno? i was gonna tune mine to a goal of 300hp but i kinda hesitated that actual dynojet equivalent is > 350 hp and i dont want to bend my rod or break something.. 280-290 on dynodynamics might be good, i just got my 9-10 psi dialed perfectly at 11.8 afr and it pulls pretty hard.. the only adjustment i would wanna do is to advance ignition :D

id like some one to tell me how much timeing per psi of boost you should retard. from what i can tell im taking out -14.5 @ 12psi........atleast thats whats on my ignition map....

ace your pretty good with the timing right? look at the ignition map from phils tune (if you have it), tell me what you think.

i dont have phils map.. my ignition map its so much easier since its all advance, on a piggyback you are retarding the amount of ignition from the stock ecu tune to make the car safely take the boost..

i dont know if each negative number translates directly to 1 degree retard et say does -1 means your retard 1 degree and -14.5 means you retard 14.5 degree?

^^I don't have a scan tool/data logging software to tell me how much timing is actual in the motor at the points where I am pulling timing. I am pulling -3 degrees on the Emanage Blue box at anything above 50% throttle and 3000rpms, starting from 0, which obviously is whatever the ECU has for timing at that point.

we need someone to hack the tc ecu map and get the actual map in graph..it will make things easier. but if a each number/value on the piggyback is equivalent to 1 degree retard/advance then its easier at least you know how much actual timing you are taking or adding

yeah im not even sure if im pulling 14 degrees of timing or if thats a percentage.......ill look it up on the aem forum and see if i can find out.

until then can any one tell me the general rule of thumb for pulling timing for boost.
i thought i had read befor about pulling 1degree of timing per every psi of boost. so i think your right ace but want to make sure.

hmmmm....so if i wher running 12psi (which i do from time to time...lol) i would just retard 2degrees? if thats true then the fic must be going off of percentage cause 14 degrees retard is way way too much. mmmmmm

I have played is slightly safer and just pulled it by one more degree. So pulling 3 degrees at 12 PSI. Did that also because the Manual boost controller will spike at 13 PSI before settling on the 12.

yeah good call on the extra degree...........so is the ignition map on the fic based off of percentage or is it straight degree's?

wait you dont have fic do you....lol
